Ouchi Gari
Position Details
Ouchi Gari (major inner reap) attacks your opponent's inside leg while pushing them backward. It's excellent for combinations and works well as a setup or follow-up technique.
Key Principles
- Grip collar and sleeve with standard judo grips
- Step between their legs with your reaping foot
- Hook and reap their far leg while pushing backward
- Drive them over the reaped leg
